A lovely trail that follows Cottonwood Creek through a residential neighborhood in northeast Colorado Springs. Cottonwood Creek, mature trees and residential yards attract a variety of birds; most recently Song Sparrow, Spotted Towhee, Yellow Warbler, Cordilleran Flycatcher and a surprise Lazuli Bunting. We’ll explore roughly 5 miles of the trail that is all paved concrete.
