Pony Gulch Homestead is a moderately difficult out-and-back trail that passes by a number of historic sites. The trail is used by hikers, backpackers, and folks on nature trips. Elevation gain is just over 760 feet. The best time to hike Pony Gulch Homestead is from April until November. Note that this trail is not marked well, especially at the beginning of the hike. Look for cairns, and follow them.
Dress for CO weather and bring your water and snacks!
